We went to Greer's Ferry Dam and Lake on Jeremy's week off. It is only about 35 miles from our house. This lake is huge! There is no road all the way around it. Our friend Tk said it is about three of Blue Mesa Lake in Colorado. It does span a long way. We went to a friends cabin two days later and in the opposite direction and ran into the lake again. We just need to get the boat licensed so we can launch it! There is a fish hatchery right by the dam. The kids got to see the fish from tiny eggs to these huge fish. They thought that was cool.

The Front
I finally got the weeding done out front so I could take a picture! I don't think they ever weeded here before. You could not even tell there were bushes! I am so glad it is done.

The House
So it's raining today. I must tell you about my first experience with a rain storm here in central Arkansas. I was taking my brother-in-law David to the airport. He was kind enough to help us move! Anyway, I really did not have a clue were I was going. I followed the signs...the rain started...pretty soon I could not see what lane I was in...and then I could not even see the road...I was scared. I wanted to stop, however, this semi beside me wouldn't let me over to the right side. So I drove. I think I had angels guiding me because I sure had no idea were the road was. I quickly decided that if it's going to rain - I'm stayin home! Here are a couple pics from the back yard looking over the lake. The video is looking out our front door. It is raining so hard the rain gutters are overflowing. And I drove in this crap!
Ah, The Bathroom
So those of you who know me well, know that I LOVE to take baths! I have really missed my huge tub in Egin, however, I think I will be able to manage with this tub. :) There are mirrors on three walls of this bathroom so it was not easy to get a good photo. You get the point of what it looks like. To the left is the walk in closet/pantry. I have a lot of food storage, and it is cool and dark in there so....welcome to the eating/dressing room! This closet is about the size of Brianna's bedroom in the Fruita house. It's massive. I am not complaining.

We moved to Arkansas!
Hi! We are officially moved to Arkansas! The trip was pretty uneventful. We did do it in two days. The kids did really well, of course we did have whining and alot of " are we there yet?". We are very happy to finally be here and we made it safe and sound. I have taken a few pictures outside. Nothing from inside yet, I will get that done as soon as we have some order inside. :) Hope you enjoy.

Brianna will be nine on February 29th, and no that is not a typing error. Cassidy will be seven on February 26th. This pic was taken last summer. They perform in the Sunshine Generation group and love it!
